| Dr. Carolyn J. Turcott is a graduate of the
Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her general psychiatry residency, as
well as a child psychiatry fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin
where she was also selected as Chief Resident.
Dr. Turcott specializes in the
diagnosis and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Turcott uses knowledge of biological, psychological, and social
factors in working with patients and their families. While she treats a wide
variety of child and adolescent mental health disorders, she has a special
interest in medication management for:
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
- Eating Disorders
- Depression
- Panic & Anxiety Disorders
- Thought Disorder
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Bipolar Disorder
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder
- Pervasive Development Disorders including Autism and
Asperger's
Dr. Turcott also specializes in the
treatment of adults with eating disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and women's issues
including depression during and after pregnancy. She is currently affiliated
with Elmbrook Memorial Hospital for consultation and the Eating Disorder Program
at Waukesha Memorial Hospital where she was previously the
Medical Director.
